F: So you saw Palme inside the cinema?

E: I saw Palme when we were leaving, I didn't know he was there until the show was over, then I passed him.

F: And the person you saw in his company was his wife?

E: Yes, I took it for granted, but I thought I recognized her, I didn't see her face right away, I only saw her in profile, that she turned away, and as I saw, was walking towards the toilet. Annika, the company I had with me, he saw that it was both Lisbeth and 0lof.

F: You didn't see anyone else then who seemed strange?

E: No, I didn't, and you don't want to show that you're curious, you don't look too much, but you just pretend like it's nothing, when you've seen a celebrity. That's why I didn't look at anything in particular other than just catching it when I walked past.

F: But this guy that you later saw running from the crime scene, did you see his face?

E: No, I didn't, I was standing, as I said before, at a fairly long distance and it was from the time the shot had been fired, these two then, and since I had turned around, a little time had passed of course, and then I just saw him running away in a hurry. As I said before, it's quite dark at this place. The shop window in that corner is quite lit and therefore I only saw him as a silhouette, a dark silhouette. Therefore I can't say what he was dressed with any great accuracy. I didn't perceive any details in his face either.

F: Regarding his physique?

E: Yes, that's what I've said before, that I perceive him as quite thin, slim, below average height. It was something that I reacted to immediately when I saw him. I thought about what you could say in a situation like this if you were to be interrogated. What had I actually seen? My second reaction was that it was a great pity that I didn't have my camera with me.
