that it was the first time we had seen him. We walked up Sveavägen towards Kungsgatan at a normal walking pace, and when we got outside Adolf Fredrik's Church we stopped for a couple of minutes and stood talking to each other, and discussed where we should go, but continued up Sveavägen.

When we got to the height of Monte Carlo, or right where Monte Carlo begins, we heard two shots in fairly quick succession, two shots that sounded very muffled. We immediately turned around and I then saw a man running from the corner at Dicorama where the whole thing was taking place, into the street, Gavid Bagares Gata.

From what I understood, it was a man who was below average height, but he ran a little crooked or slightly bent forward. It's hard to estimate his height. As I understood it, he was below average height and quite thinly built, or rather thin anyway. He moved smoothly. I got the impression that he was quite young..

I didn't immediately see what had happened, but I moved a little, then I saw, probably there were some cars standing in the way, then I saw someone lying on the street there and it was quite lit because the shop window is quite bright there. I see that someone is lying on the ground and someone comes up, or rushes up and bends over.

The first thing my companion Annika says is that we have to call an ambulance. I say that then, someone must have shot someone. At first I couldn't really tell what had happened, but then I understood after I saw someone lying on the ground, I understood that it had been a shot, someone who had shot someone.

F: Had you made it to the scene?

E: No, then we are still standing up at Monte Carlo.

F: How far away are you then?

E: It's diagonally across the street, maybe 75 meters away or something, 60, 70, 80 meters or something. At first we didn't really know what to do, but we... curious as we are, it's quite rare to hear and be part of things like this, so we went back, stuck on the same side
