Immediately after the incident, Svensson tries to drive his car over to the eastern edge of Sveavägen, but he is slightly obstructed by a light-colored taxi and a larger car, similar to the Blacer. However, he eventually finds space and stops in front of these cars.
Svensson normally has a car phone in his car, but he had removed it in view of the risk of burglary, but he saw that there was an antenna on the Blacer, which is why he immediately after stopping the car went over there and made sure that someone was trying to get help.
Immediately, or in connection with the shots being fired, Svensson had also noticed in passing a man in a blue jacket who had, as he understood, come walking after the three people he had previously described. When the shots were fired, the man had apparently backed away and taken cover in a gate or a niche in a gate, approximately 30 meters behind the scene of the incident.
When Svensson, after parking and making sure that help had been called, saw the man again, he had been about to leave the scene, which is why Svensson went up to him and asked him to stay because he understood that the man was a witness to the incident. Svensson never got to the place where the victim was lying himself because quite a few people had already gathered there. He had also seen that resuscitation attempts had been initiated.
Svensson had parked his car on Sveavägen just north of the mouth of Tunnelgatan, and after he got out and did what he had previously told him, he walked past the crime scene itself so that he was south of the mouth of Tunnelgatan when the first police car arrived. This was about three minutes after the incident.
As soon as this police car, which had stopped on the sidewalk, stopped, Svensson had told the police in which direction the perpetrator had run. A police picket then arrived and in this context Svensson reported his own name to a female police officer, and he also made sure that the previously mentioned man in the blue jacket gave his name to the police.
