Ann-Charlott Holmgren, together with her friends, Lena Schödin and Charlotte Liljedahl, took a taxi south on Sveavägen. The taxi driver was identical to Anders Delsborn. Holmgren was sitting on the left in the back seat.

Holmgren heard a bang and looked to the left. At the same time, a second bang was heard. A person collapsed on the sidewalk. A second person bent down over the fallen person. A third person remained at the scene with a weapon in his right hand.
